Personal Injury is inflicted to a person’s body, as opposed to damage to property or reputation. Such injuries can have catastrophic consequences such as serious bodily trauma and pain, loss of work due to injury, physical therapy, surgery, and high medical bills. For Personal Injury cases Tricoli Law does not get paid until we win for you.

Car Accidents - Florida is a no-fault state, which is frequently cited in personal injury commercials, but we’ve found many people that have not had a car accident do not realize what that actually means. No-fault simply means that following a car accident you must first file a claim with your own insurance company to receive PIP (Personal Injury Protection), which your lawyer will be able to handle, in addition to going after the other/at-fault party’s insurance company. Please see our blog post for a quick reference on steps to take following a car accident.

Florida No-Fault includes that those involved in the accident must receive medical treatment within 14 days following the accident to receive PIP. This is cited as a means to avoid insurance fraud.
