Tricoli Law is dedicated to helping clients in the areas of personal injury, health, and criminal law.

Michael Tricoli, founder of Tricoli Law began his legal career as a Prosecutor in Jacksonville, serving and representing the State of Florida in Duval County and Nassau County. His tenure at the State Attorney’s Office brought extensive trial experience and expertise in the criminal justice system. Michael thoroughly understands the legal process from both sides: how the State will prepare a case against a defendant, and how the defendant can best be prepared to win, should their case go to trial.

Michael Tricoli grew up in Central Florida and attended Seminole High School in Sanford, where he played football, graduated the I.B. Program, and met his high school sweetheart, now wife.

Michael attended and graduated Grinnell College in Iowa, where he also played D-III football. Michael is proud to say that he played every single offensive down for all four years for the Grinnell Pioneer Football Team. He graduated with a dual degree in History and Art History. Following his graduation, Michael worked as a hands-on manager for a car detailing company. Deciding law was his path and his calling, Michael attended law school and graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Michael graduated Cum Laude and received multiple awards for his work on the UF Trial Team.

Immediately after taking the Florida Bar, Michael served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit. Michael prosecuted misdemeanor crimes, including DWLSRs, DUIs, and Domestic Batteries, in Duval and Nassau County and felony crimes, including Drug Trafficking, Armed Robberies, and Financial Crimes, in Duval County. During his time as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office, Michael conducted nearly twenty jury trials, dozens of bench trials, and hundreds of hearings on motions.

Next, Michael followed an opportunity back home to Seminole County to act as an in-house legal counsel for a group of ambulatory surgery centers. As legal counsel, Michael represented healthcare centers and physicians in Florida and New Jersey in health law, employment law, and business law matters. On many occasions, Michael represented clients directly against insurance companies and their aggressive attorneys.

Through his time working in-house for the centers and physicians, Michael gained priceless knowledge on the inner-workings of the business of health that, along with his diverse criminal law experience, sets him apart from other attorneys. It is this expertise in multi-specialty areas of the law that Michael can offer you, his client.

Michael Tricoli brings years of experience in personal injury, health, and criminal law.
